"No actions like this come without risks, and I imagine the story will get more complicated over time, but that's why these types of decisions are complicated," Metzl posted. "Although I believe electing Kamala Harris would have been better for our democracy, society, and economy, as well as for helping the most vulnerable people in the United States and around the world, I also believe VP Harris would not have had the courage or fortitude to take such an essential step as the president took last night."

It must really suck to be a dimocrat these days. The party takes the wrong side on everything. We love illegals! We defend criminals. Don't bomb Iran's nukes!

A former staffer for former Presidents Bill Clinton and Joe Biden admitted Sunday that former Vice President Kamala Harris would not have displayed "the courage or fortitude" to take out Iran's nuclear program. The United States struck sites in Fordow, Natanz and Isfahan related to Iran's effort to develop nuclear weapons early Sunday morning, using as many as 14 GBU-57 Massive Ordnance Penetrators in the operation. Jamie Metzl, who served on the National Security Council staff during the Clinton administration and as a Senate staffer for Biden, said that while he backed Harris in the 2024 campaign, he was not a "blind tribalist" in a Sunday morning post on X.
